Women’s Series Virtual Giving Back Event with the Atlanta Community Food Bank

Celebrate a late Giving Tuesday with this post-Thanksgiving online event on December 8 with the Atlanta Community Food Bank!

The Atlanta Community Food Bank’s Education and Outreach Team will be joining us to share their brand new Digital Community Food Experience. This interactive simulation was created by the Food Bank in collaboration with a cohort of computer design students at Georgia Tech.

The experience helps bring to life major barriers to food security, explores the relationship between poverty and hunger, and illuminates the impact food insecurity has on health outcomes. You will also receive an overview of the Food Bank and learn how COVID-19 has impacted both their work and the communities they serve.
